The 2021 boating season is upon us and the Chesapeake Yacht Club is ready to welcome back all our members. The Club staff has been busy getting the docks and grounds ready. Water to all the slips is on and the fuel dock and pump out are in full operation. And of course, our staff is complying with all COVID-19 social distancing and PPE requirements.

The CYC kitchen is open to members to serve your culinary desires with food pickup outside the front door of the clubhouse. A new menu is emailed to all members each week in “This Week at CYC” and is also posted on the CYC website under the “Events” tab for the appropriate weekend. The restaurant is also open for outdoor dining and limited indoor dining. Face coverings and 6-foot social distancing are mandated. With limited indoor dining, reservations are required. Please call the office (410-867-1500) to place your takeout order or make a reservation at the restaurant.

When the pool opens on Memorial Day Weekend, appropriate COVID-19 restrictions will remain in place. Due to the pool limitations, reservations must be made by calling the office (410-867-1500).

Boating is the perfect social distancing activity because we can safely get out of our homes and visit with friends. That is the beauty of being a Chesapeake Yacht Club member – you are in a gated environment, can walk down the dock, enjoy talking with people sitting on their boats, and still maintain a safe distance.
